What We Do

We buy, repair and restore vintage instuments for re-sale.  Our passion is electric guitars and basses, but we do some acoustics. 

Of course, we love the time-proven, original, untouched, vintage classics.  However, we also see value in the well-done copies, and odd-ball's & one-off's (not to mention, the originals that have been unfortunately-altered by knuckleheads with screwdrivers and chisels'').  There is a place for all of these instuments, and they can usually be brought back to usefullness. 

SHG's is a bit different, in that we offer FREE shipping to anywhere in the world.  No endless emails for shipping quotes to Timbuktu or beyond.  The price you pay is the price you pay...no hidden handeling or shipping fees.  If you must have it shipped faster, we can usually do that, for an extra charge, but we try to ship ASAP, at the most reasonable rate.  Remember, we are shipping from Alaska, so it may take a skoosh (a little bit) longer than you are used to.
